Due to continued business growth, we are excited to be expanding our team and are currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join us at Vertu Honda Grantham. If you're looking to become part of one of the largest motor retailers in the UK, this could be the perfect opportunity for you. The salary is £25,000.

What You'll Be Doing:

You'll play a key role in supporting the smooth operation of our dealership's accounting and financial processes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with sales and purchase ledger tasks (e.g. checking and filing invoices, handling purchase enquiries)
  • Supporting the production of monthly management accounts
  • Performing balance sheet reconciliations, daily banking, and cashflow monitoring
  • Helping with credit control
  • Taking on ad-hoc accounting duties as needed
What We're Looking For:
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • A background in accounts is preferred (motor industry experience is a plus)
  • If you're not experienced, we welcome applicants working toward relevant qualifications
  • Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • A customer-focused mindset and a collaborative team spirit
