Accounts Assistant - Dudley - Up to 30,000 + Study Support

Looking to take the next step in your finance career? This Accounts Assistant role offers the perfect balance of hands on experience and progression, giving you exposure to key areas like prepayments, accruals, fixed assets, and VAT returns, while still keeping you involved in sales ledger, purchase ledger, and credit control.

You'll be joining a business that values development whether you're looking to build on your AAT Level 3 & 4 knowledge or just keen to round out your skill set with more exposure across finance. They offer study support if you want it, but there's no pressure to continue if you're happy where you are.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparing prepayments, accruals, and fixed asset registers
• Assisting with VAT returns and reconciliations
• Supporting sales ledger, purchase ledger, and credit control functions
• Processing invoices and ensuring accurate financial records
• Working closely with the finance team to improve processes

Candidate Attributes and Skills:

• Experience in an Accounts Assistant role or similar
• AAT Level 3 qualified (or working towards Level 4)
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
