Job Description
Accounts Assistant responsibilities:
- Assisting with the preparation of financial statements and reports
- Maintaining records of invoices, payments, and transactions
- Reconciling bank and ledger accounts
- Providing administrative support to the Accounting & Finance department
- Processing company expenditures and preparing expense reports
- Collaborating with the Accounting & Finance team to manage company financial procedures
- Assisting with budget preparation
- Preparing VAT returns for the company
The Successful Applicant
A successful Accounts Assistant should have:
- A foundation of accounting and financial knowledge
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel
- Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
- Excellent organisational abilities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with accounting software is advantageous
