Description: Accounts Assistant - Bury St Edmunds outskirts - £28000 - £32000

Your new company
An established organisation with an international presence, my client is seeking an experienced Accounts Assistant or Assistant Accountant to join them at their local Bury St Edmunds office. This position is a new role due to company growth.
Your new role
Reporting to and working closely with the Finance Manager and a small finance team, this is a mixed role supporting with a range of sales ledger and general ledger tasks. Duties will include raising and analysing sales invoices, payment allocation, account reconciliations, credit control, supplier query resolution, assisting with month-end processes and reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have proven experience in an Assistant Account or similar role, with strong reconciliation skills. You will be a strong team player with a confident approach to learning new processes and procedures.
