Accounts Assistant

Part time - Permanent 30 hours

Randstad are currently working in collaboration with a successful SME business in Luton. This busy, successful and expanding international business are seeking an accounts focused, organised and autonomous Accounts Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis to support the smooth running of a busy department.

Key responsibilities of the Accounts Assistant includes:

  • Processing of all purchase invoices on Xero
  • Reconcile invoices against purchase orders and resolve queries with relevant buyer/supplier
  • Weekly bank payment run and ad-hoc payments
  • Supplier / client reconciliations
  • Bank reconciliation covering all postings
  • Assist with credit control
  • Assist with stock records
  • Maintenance of supplier and customer accounts on Xero (credit terms/credit insurance)
  • Assist with reconciliation of invoice discounting account with bank
  • EU VAT return processing - work with Management Accountant on returns
  • Sales invoicing
  • Any other duties as required
