Overview

Highly successful property company require experienced Accounts Assistant, for a newly created role that has arisen due to corporate expansion, based at superb offices in Weybridge, Surrey.

About the role

The Accounts Assistant will be responsible for both Accounts Payable and Receivable duties and will assist with a variety of month-end accounting routines. Key duties include:

  • Responsible for client invoicing and ensuring accurate cash allocation of incoming monies
  • Credit Control debt collection of any unpaid revenue
  • Entering Accounts Payable invoices to the company Accounting system
  • Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
  • Processing supplier payments by BACS
  • Resolution of both supplier and customer queries
  • Completion of monthly bank account reconciliations
  • Assisting with month end accounting routines including VAT returns and accruals & pre payments
About you
  • You will be an experienced Accounts Assistant with a proven track record within Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Applicants will have good aptitude for computer systems and experience of MS Excel
  • The successful candidate will be flexible about their duties and keen to pick up new skills and experience
