Job Title: Accounts Assistant

Location: Bromsgrove

Salary: From £26,000

Hours: Monday to Friday, Full Time


If you're looking to take the next step in your finance career, this Accounts Assistant role within a supportive and fast-paced team could be just what you're after. In this role, you’ll be supporting the finance function with daily bank reconciliations, payment processing, and financial reporting. You’ll also collaborate with the sales, purchase ledger, and accounting teams to ensure smooth day-to-day financial operations.


Key responsibilities include:

  1. Daily reconciliation and posting of bank and PDQ transactions
  2. Downloading remittances from manufacturer portals
  3. Reconciling tills and sharing daily banking updates with the sales team
  4. Processing various payments including settlements, cashback, expenses, and supplier invoices
  5. Posting and adjusting warranty payments
  6. Managing unallocated sales ledger cash
  7. Providing general support across the finance team

What we’re looking for:

  1. Experience in a similar accounts role
  2. Familiarity with Keyloop/Kerridge is highly desirable
  3. Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills
  4. A proactive team player with a flexible approach
