NC Associates are working in partnership with a fast paced and rapidly expanding organisation based in Bromborough who is looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to help assist the Management Accountant in supporting the smooth running of the Accounts function. The business has grown considerably over the past few years and has massive expansion plans so with this they require an extremely hands on Accounts Assistant who isnt afraid of getting stuck in, new processes and systems are being implemented so they require a self-sufficient Accounts Assistant to help with the on-boarding of the new systems.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Handle and process purchase invoices daily
  • Regularly maintain and update supplier accounts to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Oversee the accounts email inbox, resolving purchase ledger and invoice queries
  • Facilitate weekly and fortnightly payment runs by ensuring precise invoice processing.
  • Perform supplier statement reconciliations.
  • Address and resolve supplier queries promptly.
  • Payment processes and bank reconciliations as required.
  • Maintain and improve data capture software, proposing enhancements.
  • Assist with credit control, chasing unpaid invoices by building a good rapport with customers.
  • Assist with Month End preparation, accruals, journals and prepayments
  • Undertake additional ad hoc duties as needed.

Essential Experience Required

  • To be successful in your application for this role youMUSThave the following experience
  • Previous experience of working in a similar position as an Accounts Assistant (min 2 years’ experience)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Can do attitude and someone who isnt afraid of getting involved in all areas to support the team
  • Team player with a confident personality
