Accounts Assistant | £26,000- £30,000 | Bolton (Hybrid & Flexible) | 25 Days Holiday plus Bank Holidays | PE Backed Business

Axon Moore is working in partnership with an exciting business based in Bolton who are searching for an experienced Accounts Assistant who is looking to take ownership of transactional duties and add value to the business. The role is varied, fast-paced and offers mentorship for career development.

A generous starting salary is on offer up to £30,000 and there is scope to become involved with wider areas of the accounts team. The business also boasts a great working culture with hybrid and flexible working also on offer.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Aspects of sales and purchase ledger
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Weekly bank reconciliations
  • Liaising with our sales team regarding overdue debtors and outstanding queries
  • Production and distribution of sales invoices
  • Posting daily cash and completing payment runs
  • Processing employee expense claims and processing credit cards
  • Matching and coding of purchase invoices
  • General accounts administration and ad-hoc duties

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Previous experience working in a similar position
  • Good IT skills, including Microsoft Excel
  • Adaptable and flexible
  • Positive can-do attitude with an enthusiastic approach
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Team player with ability to work independently
