An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and meticulous individual to join a market leading business as an Accounts Assistant. This role offers the chance to support the Accountant/Accounts function in all aspects of the department.
What you'll do:
Provide comprehensive support to the Accountant/Accounts function
Handle general accounts administration tasks such as dealing with correspondents, filing, and updating records
Manage balance sheet controls effectively
Take charge of credit control within the department
Ensure accurate reconciling of accounts on a regular basis
Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the department
What you'll bring:
Proven background in accounts with a good understanding of the role
Experience working within a Car Dealership would be beneficial but not essential
AAT qualification would be preferable but not essential
Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
Ability to manage balance sheet controls effectively
Experience in credit control and account reconciliation
