Job description

Service Care have an exciting opportunity to join our client, an international property company, as an Accounts Assistant. Please find a description of the role below.

Role: Accounts Assistant
Location: Blackburn
Salary: £25,000 to £30,000 (+benefits) (based on experience, qualifications, and interview performance)
Working: 37 per week, on-site.
Positions: 2

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare financial reports and assist with financial statements.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, including invoice processing and payments.
  • Maintain accurate records using accounting software.
  • Support month-end close by reconciling accounts and preparing documentation.
  • Conduct financial data audits and suggest process improvements

Qualifications/Experience:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in software like Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Understanding of financial processes, ideally within the property sector.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
