Service Care Solutions has an exciting opportunity to join our client, an international property company, as an Accounts Assistant. Below are the details of the role:

Role:

Accounts Assistant

Location:

Blackburn

Salary:

£25,000 to £30,000 (+ benefits) (based on experience, qualifications, and interview performance)

Working:

37 hours per week, on-site

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with financial statements.
  • Perform daily bank reconciliations.
  • Manage accounts payable/receivable, including invoice processing and payments.
  • Maintain accurate records using accounting software.
  • Support month-end close by reconciling accounts and preparing documentation.
  • Conduct financial data audits and suggest process improvements.
Qualifications/Experience:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
  • Proficiency in software like Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, or PeopleSoft.
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills.
  • Understanding of financial processes, ideally within the property sector.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
