A national opticians and hearing care business is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the management accounting team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience in accounts, excellent communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel. This role includes posting management accounting journals, reconciling costs, and assisting with various financial responsibilities. The position offers a central location with good transport links and competitive benefits including 28 days of annual leave.
Your role will be to provide support in preparation of the management accounts based at Head Office. You will assist the management accounting team in meeting the period end activities to ensure management accounting journals are processed as per the pre-defined schedules.
The successful applicant will have to have a minimum of two years in accounts, excellent written and oral communication skills, be able to deal with high volumes and good use of Microsoft packages, namely Word and Excel.
