Job description

Hays are working with a local organisation to recruit for an Accounts Assistant.

Your new company

Hays are working with a small but mighty not-for-profit to recruit for an Accounts Assistant.

Your new role

  1. Maintenance of Sales Ledger on Sage 200 - including setting up new accounts, processing customer credit notes, updating customer accounts with payments received and allocation of payments.
  2. Maintenance of Purchase Ledger on Sage 200 - including setting up new supplier accounts, entering supplier invoices and credit notes, and processing supplier payments.
  3. Rebate reporting to suppliers.
  4. Ad hoc duties when required.

What you'll need to succeed

  1. Minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths (or equivalent).
  2. Working knowledge of Sage 200.
  3. Be an independent thinker and work on your own initiative once training is completed.
  4. Ability to work under pressure.
  5. Good communicator and team player.

What you'll get in return
