The Opportunity
We're looking for a
Bookkeeper / Customer-Focused Sales Administrator to join a small finance team. This is a customer-facing, office-based role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in delivering excellent service, and enjoys seeing things through from start to finish.
You'll handle inbound enquiries, support customer onboarding and offboarding, manage account administration, and assist with bookkeeping.
Team fit is essential. You'll be supporting and working alongside an established finance teamso were looking for a true
doer whos happy to get stuck in wherever needed, with a hands-on, can-do attitude.
What Youll Do
- Handle incoming calls and emails from new and existing customers
- Guide customers through our property and storage options
- Set up accounts and contracts, ensuring smooth onboarding
- Manage invoicing, direct debits, and assist with bookkeeping tasks
- Follow up on credit control and account queries professionally
- Support customer offboarding, including refunds and final documentation
- Encourage happy customers to leave reviews on Google and Trustpilot
- Provide general administrative support to the sales and operations team
What Youll Bring
- Experience in admin, customer service, or sales support (ideally office-based)
- Clear and confident communication skillsespecially over the phone
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- A positive, proactive approach with the ability to multitask
- A roll-your-sleeves-up mindsethappy to pitch in across the team
- Knowledge of Xero (helpful but not essential)
- Experience with billing or credit control (a bonus)
