Job summary

RG Consultancy are delighted to be supporting an excellent, award-winning construction company based in Bamber Bridge, Preston who are looking to add an Accounts Assistant to their team. You will work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure day-to-day finance duties are covered, including purchase ledgers, sales ledgers, invoice processing and bank reconciliations, with month-end support.

Sage and Excel are used daily; CIS knowledge or construction background is not essential but would be a

Qualifications

• Experience handling purchase and sales ledgers.
• Knowledge of month-end processes is desirable.
• Experience with Sage or Excel is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchase ledger and sales ledger tasks.
• Process invoices and perform bank reconciliations.
• Address accounts queries and support month-end close.

Due to growth, the opportunity has arisen to join their accounts team as Accounts Assistant and work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure the day-to-day finance duties are being covered.

The role include:

• Purchase ledger
• Sales ledger
• Invoice processing
• Bank reconciliations
• Dealing with accounts queries
• Supporting the Finance Manager with month end
• Working on Sage and Excel

CIS knowledge or construction background is not a must have but would be a distinct advantage for this Accounts Assistant role.
