Job Description

  • Handling day-to-day financial transactions such as invoices, expenses and payments.
  • Supporting the accounting team in preparing and maintaining financial reports.
  • Assisting with budget preparation and financial planning processes.
  • Ensuring financial records are kept up-to-date with the latest transactions and decisions.
  • Helping with the annual audit preparation and participate in the process.
  • Contributing to the development of the company's financial management systems and processes.
  • Resolving accounts payable and receivable issues or queries.
  • Assisting in payroll preparation by providing relevant data.

The Successful Applicant

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

  • A degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • A proven understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices.
  • Excellent numeracy skills with an attention to detail.
