FINANCE MANAGER

Your role

As Finance Manager, you'll oversee the financial health of three business, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across all accounting functions.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing and submitting quarterly management accounts and VAT returns.
  • Managing payroll processes, pension contributions, and employee expenses.
  • Handling financial reporting, cash flow management, and cost control.
  • Overseeing purchase and sales ledgers, bank reconciliations, and supplier payments, (2 staff)
  • Collaborating with external accountants on year-end reporting.
  • Providing HR support for contracts, holiday pay, and other employee matters.

What we’re looking for
  • AAT Level 4 qualified (or has equivalent experience).
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and problem-solve.
  • Experience in financial reporting, payroll, VAT, and cash flow management.
  • Confident using Excel and accounts software (Open Accounts / Xero knowledge is a plus).
  • Experience liaising with senior management and external accountants.
  • Brings a proactive, structured, and detail-oriented approach to finance.
