Job description

Accounts and Audit Semi-Senior position available in Stoke-on-Trent. Our client, a well-known firm of chartered accountants and business advisers, is seeking a semi-senior to join their friendly and expanding team.

The successful candidate will work with diverse clients to complete full accounts preparation, corporate tax returns, and management accounts. The role offers high-quality personal development and on-the-job training to enhance your skills in accounting, audit, and tax.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Preparing accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
  2. Preparing documents for account meetings
  3. Preparing management accounts
  4. Preparing corporation tax returns for review
  5. Assisting the lead auditor

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in an accountancy practice and be AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified or part-qualified.

Requirements:
  1. Experience in an accountancy practice
  2. AAT/ACCA/ACA qualification or part-qualification
  3. No audit experience required as training is provided
  4. Excellent communication skills
  5. Highly organized with attention to detail
Remuneration and Benefits:
  • £23,000-£26,000 depending on experience
