Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and organised Accounts Administrator to join our friendly, professional team at Signs Express (Glasgow) to help manage the day-to-day accounts procedures along with general administration responsibilities and basic quoting support.

As an Accounts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial and administrative functions of the company. Your attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks will ensure the smooth running of our operations.

  • Location: Signs Express (Glasgow), Unit 9, Carberry Court, Hillington Park, Glasgow, G52 4NQ
  • Salary: Available on request
  • Working Hours: Full-time permanent position, Monday-Friday. (Part-time working hours may also be available, please discuss upon application)

Duties Include:

  • Process and maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments.
  • Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and statements.
  • Liaise with suppliers and clients regarding account queries and payments.
  • Support the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Provide general administrative support, including answering phones, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
  • Maintain and update company databases and filing systems.
  • Manage office supplies and ensure the office environment is organised and efficient.
  • Providing outstanding customer service to our clients and others at all times.
  • Assisting in-house sales and production staff with basic customer quoting as and when required.

  • Proven experience in an accounts or administration role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage) and MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
