The Finance organization consists of operations and corporate finance teams. The operations finance team influences business decisions by gathering the best available operations information, distilling it and making recommendations to our management team on the best course of action. The corporate team provides a broad range of services, such as financial planning, corporate accounting, tax, industry analysis and benchmarking, internal audits, SEC reporting and merger and acquisition support.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

We are seeking an experienced German speaking Accounts Administrator to join our EU Shared Service Centre that is based in Newport. The successful candidate will be responsible for various financial processes supporting the daily operation of KLA’s European entities. You will need to demonstrate your ability communicate fluently with our German finance team to build strong relationships, work to a high level of accuracy & to tight deadlines. This will be a Hybrid position, based 3 days a week in our Newport office after an onsite training period

This role will be based in Celtic Lakes. This new 237,000-square-foot Newport facility provides additional production and customer collaboration spaces, including 25,000 square feet of R&D clean rooms, 35,000 square feet of state-of-the-art manufacturing space and tool demo areas, all designed to support development of semiconductor process technologies across advanced packaging, power devices, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS), radio frequency (RF) and photonics sector technology.

Your day to day responsibilities will include:

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of financial records, including invoices, receipts, and payments

  • Process Travel & Expenses submissions as well as answering related queries

  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner

  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure discrepancies are resolved promptly

  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes

  • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements

  • Maintain accurate and organized filing systems for financial documents

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations

  • Respond to queries from internal and external stakeholders regarding financial transactions

  • Assist in the implementation and improvement of financial processes and procedures.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
