Job summary

Ford & Slater, a leading UK DAF Truck dealer group, is recruiting an Accounts Administrator / Credit Controller for its Leicester Head Office. The role offers a salary up to £27,000, 36.25 hours, and a benefits package including pension and on-site parking.

You will handle bank postings, remittances, invoicing, statements, and credit control, within a friendly finance team. Full UK driving licence is beneficial but not essential.

Qualifications

• You will have previous experience working in an accounts role (sales ledger, credit control, accounts receivable).
• A team player with an exceptional eye for detail.
• Excellent IT and communication skills, including Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Full UK driving licence beneficial but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Posting bank statements.
• Preparing remittances and bank statements.
• Sending copy invoices.
• Issuing customer statements.
• Credit control duties.
• Holiday cover.
• Vehicle reconciliations.
• Bank reconciliations.
• Carry out administration in line with company procedures.
