Job summary

A well-established multi-disciplinary contractor is seeking an Accounts Administrator/Bookkeeper in High Wycombe. This part-time role (20 hours/week) offers £16-18 per hour plus benefits. The successful candidate will manage monthly bank reconciliations, invoice sales, and control credit, requiring a solid understanding of financial processes and experience with Xero. An AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting is essential.

Qualifications

  • Solid understanding of bookkeeping and tax filing.
  • Expected to work 20 hours a week.

Responsibilities

  • Monthly bank reconciliations, sales and purchase ledger maintenance.
  • Sales invoicing and credit control.
  • Chasing outstanding payments and monitoring customer accounts.
  • General office administration and organization.
  • Updating and maintaining financial spreadsheets.

Skills

Understanding of financial processes
Proven bookkeeping experience
Knowledge of VAT codes
Experience with Xero

A well-established multi- disciplined fit-out contractor, specialising in pharmaceuticals and education have an exciting new requirement for an Accounts administrator/bookkeeper to join their close working team in High Wycombe. They are very focused on employee progression, growth and ensuring that their close-knit family feel is maintained.
Accounts administrator will be paid 16-18pph + Part time Hours + package + Benefits

The successful Accounts Administrator/Bookkeeper will be responsible for:

  • The Accounts Administrator/bookkeeper will be responsible formonthly bank reconciliations, sales and purchase ledger maintenance
  • The Accounts Administrator/bookkeeper will be responsible forsales invoicing and credit control
  • The Accounts Administrator/bookkeeper will be chasingoutstanding payment (debt) & monitoring of customer accounts
  • The Accounts Administrator/bookkeeper will be responsible for general office administration and organisation
  • The Accounts Administrator/bookkeeper will be responsible forUpdating and maintain financial spreadsheets

Accounts administrator/ Bookkeeper will be paid up
The successful Accounts Administrator/Bookkeeper will have experience in the following:

  • The Accounts Administrator/bookkeeper will have a solid understanding of financial processes such as bookkeeping and tax filing.
  • The Accounts Administrator/bookkeeper will have an AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting or bookkeeping
  • The Accounts Administrator/bookkeeper will have proven bookkeeping experience and worthy knowledge with Xero.
  • The Accounts Administrator/bookkeeper will have an understanding of VAT codes
  • The Accounts Administrator will be expected to work 20 hours a week
