Role Description
This is a part-time (2-3 days per week) on-site role for an Accounts Administrator at LJ Create, located in Norwich (NR5 9JJ). The Accounts Administrator will support the day-to-day management of financial transactions and month-end procedures. They will ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
Job Activities
1. Support month-end processes and financial reporting.
2. Process invoices and credit notes.
3. Post payments & receipts (including intercompany contra) into accounting software.
4. Professionally handle supplier queries.
5. Reconcile petty cash.
6. Reconcile credit card statements to employee expenses.
7. Review stock & WIP balances, investigating discrepancies before producing the final report.
8. Assisting with bi-monthly stock takes.
9. Perform sales analysis as required.
Responsibilities
1. Ensuring that tasks are dealt with accurately.
2. Ensuring that month-end reports are produced in a timely manner. These include: GRN reports, aged creditors, debtors and sales orders reports.
3. Maintaining accurate records of accounts payable, reconciling supplier statements to ledgers.
4. Closing purchase and sales ledgers.
5. Credit control.
Person Description
The person carrying out this role must:
1. Have experience working in a similar role.
2. Be able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
3. Be of a professional and tidy appearance with a commitment to accuracy and integrity.
4. Be capable of working effectively as part of a team as well as being able to work on own initiative.
5. Be proficient with accounting software and MS Excel.
6. Have a high level of attention to detail.
7. Knowledge of basic accounting principles (an accounting qualification would be a strong advantage e.g. AAT, CFAB)
