Job description

Job Title: Accounts Administrator

Location: Bond Street, London (fully in office )

Pay: 14-16 per hour

Duration: Temporary 3 months

Hours/days: Monday-Friday 9am-5:30pm

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Accounts Administrator to support our clients finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks including processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and maintaining accurate financial records. This role is ideal for someone who is proactive, accurate with numbers, and has a good understanding of financial procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process purchase invoices and match with purchase orders
  • Reconcile supplier statements and resolve any discrepancies
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Prepare and process payments (BACS, CHAPS etc.)
  • Maintain accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Assist with month-end procedures including journal entries
  • Bank reconciliations and cashbook entries
  • Support the wider finance team with ad hoc administrative tasks
  • Monitor and respond to finance-related queries in a timely manner
  • Liaise with internal departments and external suppliers as needed

Key Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar accounts/finance role
  • Strong numerical and data entry skills with high accuracy
  • Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero, QuickBooks, Oracle, NetSuite)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office Suite
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage workload and meet deadlines
  • AAT qualification (or working towards) desirable but not essential
