My client is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to join their busy team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing accounts payable and ensuring the smooth operation of their financial processes.

Responsibilities :

  • Accurately inputting and processing purchase ledger invoices and delivery notes onto the system
  • Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of bank statements and accounts on a regular basis.
  • Credit control and cash allocation
  • Assist in the office by answering the telephone, communicate with customers and suppliers

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar accounting role is preferred.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly Sage
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with internal teams and external partners.
  • A basic understanding of accounting principles and practices is advantageous.
