As a Global Demand Manager in the Accounting Technology domain, you will be at the forefront of overseeing a diverse portfolio of programmes and domain transformations. Your role is crucial in creating visibility of demand, progress, and risks at the domain level while ensuring that accountability remains within the federated implementation groups. You will work closely with various teams across both business and technology to ensure that our strategic goals are met and that all programmes are aligned with the overall objectives. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in programme management, demand management, stakeholder engagement and software engineering delivery.

The Accounting Technology Domain is a 800+ person global, and diverse team, partnering with business and treasury finance, as well as across front office, operations, and regulatory functions, delivering key initiatives and creating products throughout the value chain, starting in T+1 Product Control and providing the necessary information to the General Ledger from Transaction and Hedge Accounting.

What we'll offer you:

  • Hybrid Working - we understand that employee expectations and preferences are changing. We have implemented a model that enables eligible employees to work remotely for a part of their working time and reach a working pattern that works for them.
  • Competitive salary and non-contributory pension.
  • 30 days' holiday plus bank holidays, with the option to purchase additional days.
  • Life Assurance and Private Healthcare for you and your family.
  • A range of flexible benefits including Retail Discounts, a Bike4Work scheme and Gym benefits.
  • The opportunity to support a wide-ranging CSR programme + 2 days' volunteering leave per year.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement processes to capture and manage demand across the Accounting Technology domain.
  • Provide oversight and governance for programmes within the domain.
  • Create and maintain visibility into the status of programmes.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across the organisation to ensure their needs and expectations are met.
  • Identify and manage risks across programmes, collaborating with senior management and implementation teams to develop and action mitigation plans.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the Accounting Technology domain.

Your skills and experience:

  • Background in software engineering and delivery, ideally with some hands-on engineering experience.
  • Extensive experience in programme management, with a proven track record of successfully managing large-scale, complex programmes in a mixed project framework environment including agile project frameworks.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior leaders across the organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and managing risks within a programme or project environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to a variety of audiences.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to inspire, collaborate with and motivate teams to achieve their goals.

How we'll support you:

  • Training and development to help you excel in your career.
  • A culture of continuous learning to aid progression.
  • A range of flexible benefits that you can tailor to suit your needs.
  • We value diversity and as an equal opportunities employer, we make reasonable adjustments for those with a disability such as the provision of assistive equipment if required (e.g. screen readers, assistive hearing devices, adapted keyboards).
