Job summary

Sumer Group in Inverness is inviting applications for its Early Careers Trainee Programme, designed for those taking their first step into accountancy. You’ll gain hands-on experience in Audit, Accounts or Tax, working with a range of clients from day one and developing both technical and soft skills.

The programme combines a training contract with study towards AAT, ICAS or ATT, plus the Sumer Academy and a group-wide cohort.

Qualifications

• Strong A-Level or equivalent with English C and Maths B at National 5.
• Effective communicator with clients and colleagues.
• Collaborative team player with good organisation and prioritisation.
• Proactive problem solving and adaptable mindset.

Responsibilities

• Gaining hands-on experience in Audit, Accounts or Tax.
• Prepare accounts and support audits.
• Provide insightful tax and business advice.
