Due to the strong reputation for excellence in technical advice, high quality work and personable staff, in recent years this firm has undergone huge growth. As such, they are now seeking to bring in an experienced Accounts Technician to their busy team.

Responsibilities

• You will provide key support to the accountants and partners of the business, while gaining exposure to clients in a broad range of industries and business types.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Professional candidate with 2+ years experience in a busy practice role, qualified as or working towards Accounting Technician qualification.
• Progression and support with CAI studies is available to the successful candidate that has already gained IATI qualification.

Skills and Attributes

• Excellent communication skills, able to build good working relationships
• Experience in accounts preparation, general bookkeeping, HMRC returns and tax computations
• Keen attention to detail, delivering high quality work in a timely manner
• Strong organisational skills to manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines
• Continuous improvement mindset, keeping skills and knowledge up to date while also suggesting business and process improvements where necessary
