Job Description

The main responsibilities of this role are to provide financial support for the senior management team, including but not limited to:

  • Completion of monthly management accounts
  • Coordination and communication with internal stakeholders
  • Support and cover for office administration tasks such as payables and receivables
  • Assistance with Health, Safety, and Environmental documentation
  • Sourcing group marketing materials and sales aids
  • Coordinating business meetings
  • Providing financial inputs for various business units
  • Handling finance operations including bank reconciliations, credit control, purchase ledger, VAT returns, online banking
  • Demonstrating strong interpersonal skills
  • Maintaining a good level of numeracy and literacy
  • Traveling across Ireland with overnight stays if required
  • Being a proactive team player with a strong work ethic
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and prioritization skills
  • Providing proactive customer service with confidence
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in a B2B office environment and in similar financial roles
  • Qualifications or experience as an accounting technician

This is a maternity cover role, expected to last approximately 1 year.
