About The Role

Accounting Technician

Part time - 22.5 hours

Join Our Finance Team - Make a Real Impact at the Council

Are you passionate about finance and looking to make a difference in your community? We're excited to welcome a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our dedicated Finance team.

In this varied and rewarding role, you'll play a key part in supporting the Accountancy Team with management accounting services, while also providing cover across Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury Management, and Income Management. You'll be involved in budget monitoring, monthly reconciliations, and preparing financial accounts and returns. You'll also offer valuable financial advice to officers and members across the Council.

We're looking for someone with experience in a multi-functional finance environment, who enjoys working collaboratively and is confident contributing to a wide range of financial tasks. Strong numerical, communication, and IT skills are essential.
