  • Handle employee expenses and petty cash.
  • Perform supplier statement reconciliations.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounting Technician to join our dynamic Management Accounting team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to begin or further develop their career in accounting, supported by a team of experienced professionals in a fast-paced, high-performing environment.

You’ll work alongside qualified and experienced team members, gaining hands-on experience in a wide range of accounting duties. Full training and support will be provided as you grow your knowledge and technical skills within a business that values high standards and timely delivery.

Your New Role

This list of duties is not exhaustive and may change from time to time according to business needs:

  • Processing high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently
  • Chasing outstanding invoices and ensuring timely authorisation
  • Managing monthly and ad hoc payment runs
  • Reviewing aged creditor files and resolving discrepancies
  • Handling employee expenses and petty cash
  • Performing supplier statement reconciliations
  • Responding to supplier and client enquiries
  • Maintaining internal documentation and housekeeping tasks
  • Assisting in various administrative and technical tasks as needed
  • Supporting and providing cover for team members when required
  • Carrying out tasks as directed by the Senior Leadership Team
  • What will you need to succeed in this role?

    As to be expected, we are searching for someone who can bring a range of skills and experiences to enhance the team. As such, there are a few essential skills we are looking for:

    • Educated to a minimum of Higher Grade (or equivalent)
    • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload
    • Strong numeracy and IT skills
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Methodical and accurate approach to tasks
    • Willingness to learn and adapt
    • Ability to meet deadlines and maintain high standards
    • Previous experience in an accounting or finance-related environment (desirable)
