Job Title: Accounting Teacher

Location: Birmingham

Salary: £120 - £250 per day. Dependent on experience.

Contract Type: 2 days a week, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM

Start Date: September 2025

About them: We are working on behalf of an academy located in Birmingham. It is a high performing specialist sixth form dedicated to providing the very best academic and technical education for successful and rewarding careers in engineering, science, health, and business.

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Accounting Teacher to join their lovely team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons to students at KS5. You will inspire and motivate students to achieve their full potential and develop a love for Accounting.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective lessons.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Manage classroom behaviour to ensure a safe and productive space.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • A degree in accounting or a related field.
  • Experience teaching Accounting at KS5.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for accounting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
  • Committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS check.
