Accounting teacher and curriculum leader

Full time, Fixed term, Start Date: 14/07/2025, End Date: 05/12/2025 (Parental leave)

Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher

The role

We are currently seeking an inspiring and enthusiastic accounting teacher and curriculum leader to teach from Y9 to 13. The teacher needs to meet and extend the needs of their learners through strong pedagogical practice including digital technology, blended learning, and differentiation. Demonstrated experience of teaching Accounting is required. Knowledge or experience of Business studies and/or Social studies is an advantage. This position is to cover a period of parental leave.

Applicants must be able to start on 14 July 2025 (optional earlier start date if available) and work through to 5 December 2025 for a fixed-term parental leave period.

Applicants must have knowledge of and experience with the New Zealand Curriculum. They must commit to the vision and values of the College and demonstrate a commitment to be part of a well-resourced and supportive environment with motivated students who are keen to learn.
