Accounting Lecturer - London - September Start

We are partnering with a well-established Further Education and Training college in London to prepare for the recruitment of an Accounting Lecturer, with the role expected to start in September on a temporary ongoing basis.

The college is currently advertising this opportunity internally. Once their internal process concludes, the role will be passed to us. We are therefore inviting early interest from qualified professionals who are passionate about delivering high-quality Accounting education within the Further Education and Training sector.

The Role:

As an Accounting Lecturer, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging and accessible lessons to learners aged 16+ across various levels of Accounting courses.
• Guide students with academic progression and career readiness within a Further Education and Training environment.
• Develop and assess learning materials, provide timely feedback and contribute to course improvements.
• Promote a respectful and cohesive learning environment that encourages achievement.

Candidate Requirements:

• A relevant Accounting qualification (e.g. degree, AAT, ACCA).
• A recognised teaching qualification or a willingness to work towards one.
• Previous experience teaching in FE or a similar post-16 setting.
• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service - this is a mandatory requirement.
• Strong organisational and social skills with a dedication to learner success.
