Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking a Mandarin-speaking Finance Manager in London. The role involves regulatory reporting, liquidity risk analysis, and working closely with the CFO. Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Conduct Liquidity risk analysis including LCR calculation.
  • Assist in regulatory reporting to PRA and BoE.
  • Monitor assets and liabilities effectively.
  • Prepare Finance related regulatory returns.
  • Develop working relationships with Finance teams overseas.
  • Review periodic CT and VAT returns.
  • Manage Finance team IT system testing.
  • Assist in creating financial plans and budgets.
  • Aid in monthly management information preparation.
  • Coordinate with internal auditors for audits.

Summary:

  • Reporting to CFO and supporting CFO in day-to-day financial and tax affairs, regulatory reporting and ALM control.
  • In addition to the responsibilities summarised above you are required to comply at all times with the Conduct Rules set out in the FCA Handbook and the PRA Rulebook.

What You'll be Doing:

  • Conduct/Review daily Liquidity risk analysis including LCR calculation and periodic Interest rate and FX risks analysis in Banking Book;
  • To assist in monitoring assets and liabilities and ensure they are managed in an appropriated and effective manner;
  • Responsible for preparation of all Finance related regulatory returns to PRA and BoE;
  • Implementation and testing of an automated regulatory reporting system for PRA, BoE Statistical and prudential reporting;
  • To develop working relationship with HO and other overseas branches' Finance and ALM teams;
  • To review the periodic CT and VAT returns and work with the tax advisors;
  • Review of bank recons, business expenses payment processing and ledger postings;
  • Help Finance team for Finance related IT system testing and updates;
  • To assist in creating and monitor financial plans and budgets;
  • To assist the Finance team in monthly management information preparation, or other analysis of the business as required and to assist in improving the financial reporting;
  • Monitor regulatory policy, proposals and consultation papers related to Finance;
  • To assist in developing Finance and Accounting policies where requested, implementation of systems as necessary, and help with the preparation and provision of financial statements and reports;
  • To coordinate with internal auditors on the Finance department's audit;
  • To act as a back up for the Finance team and CFO when required;
  • Any other reasonable tasks assigned by the CFO.
  • You may be required to take minutes of the Finance related meetings.
