Job Description:

We are searching for an experienced Accounting, Insight & Advisory Assistant Manager to support the Managers within our team in Edinburgh. Your role will involve managing client portfolios, ensuring high standards of client service, and contributing to business growth through opportunities and business development activities.

Our Consulting team integrates multiple disciplines to deliver tailored client solutions across various services such as business transformation, deal services, finance support, risk management, forensic services, and restructuring. We aim to support our clients' strategic goals and foster our employees' career development.

Your responsibilities will include:

  1. Ensuring high-quality completion of jobs within internal budgets and discussing key issues with senior staff and clients.
  2. Planning assignments according to firm procedures, confirming arrangements, costs, and billing.
  3. Supervising assignments hands-on as needed.
  4. Coaching staff to deliver excellent service.

What we are looking for:

We value diverse experiences. Our ideal candidate will:

  1. Be newly ACA or ACCA qualified.
  2. Have a good understanding of UK financial reporting requirements.
  3. Possess knowledge of Sage and Xero (beneficial but not essential).
  4. Demonstrate commercial awareness and value addition skills.
  5. Have strong accounts production skills, with experience using CCH Accounts Production being a plus.
