Job summary

Dains Scotland is recruiting an Accounting & Business Advisory Graduate in Kilmarnock. You will join a structured 3-year training programme leading to Chartered Accountant status and study ICAS.

You will be supported by a collaborative team, gain hands-on experience in accounts, business performance analysis and advisory services, with hybrid working options and a strong learning culture.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at grade 6 or higher.
• UCAS points: minimum 112 (excluding General Studies).
• A 2:1 or higher in a relevant degree.
• Eligibility to work in the UK without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing accounts and understand client business performance.
• Support clients with strategic decisions and regulatory compliance.
• Work towards becoming a Chartered Accountant (CA) via ICAS.
• Collaborate with the team in auditing and advisory projects.

Our Accounting & Business Advisory Team

Our team works closely with clients from startups to established companies providing tailored advice on everything from financial reporting and compliance to digital transformation and cloud accounting.

You’ll gain hand-on experience in preparing accounts, understanding business performance, and supporting clients with strategic decisions. You’ll be supported by experts who are passionate about helping you develop your skills and achieve your professional qualifications, all while contributing to real world business solutions.

As an Accounting & Business Advisory Graduate, you’ll begin your journey towards becoming an CA qualified Chartered Accountant by studying the ICAS qualification, which will provide you with a strong foundation in finance, accounting, and business.
