We are looking for an individual who would like to begin their career as an accounting apprentice alongside general office administration whilst also working their way through the Accounting Technicians suite of qualifications.

Hours Monday - Thursday: 8.30 am - 5.00 pm (½-hour lunch). Friday: 7-30 am - 1.30 pm (no lunch).

Most of your apprenticeship is spent working. You'll learn on the job by getting hands-on experience.
What you'll do at work
We are a busy office, consisting of a team of 4, who are the hub for accounts and administration support for CTL Seal Ltd and 4 other partner companies.
This will be of interest to you if you are someone who is prepared to work hard as part of the team, enjoys being busy, willing to learn and contribute ideas/suggestions.
A varied role - initial responsibilities will be:
- Using finance packages - Sage50 Professional and also a Manufacturing Package -Emax.
- Purchase Ledger.
- Recharges -intercompany.
- Delivery Line Reports.
- Time sheet Entry.
- Petty cash.
- Journal entries.
- Telephone & Reception duties.
- Interaction with departments -visitors -contractors.
- Filing -Photocopying - ad hoc

- Communicate with stakeholders to deliver accurate and timely results, avoiding jargon, using language tailored to the audience and different media methods with an appreciation of the risks and benefits to the business of social media and other digital applications.

- Handle data and digital technology in line with cyber and data security requirements, using data securely and safely, including backing up data.

Essential qualificationsGCSE in:
English and Maths (grade A* - C/9 - 4 or equivalent)
