Job Title:Accounting Assistant (FTC)
Location:Ipswich

Purpose of the Role:Support financial and management reporting, statutory accounts, and regulatory submissions for managed portfolios. Provide accounting support to international finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with quarterly and annual financial reporting
  • Prepare statutory accounts and regulatory returns
  • Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
  • Process revenue and expense entries
  • Support internal reporting and audits
  • Collaborate with international teams and external auditors

Skills & Experience

  • Part-qualified accountant or equivalent experience
  • Background in financial reporting, ideally in insurance or reinsurance
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Excel and accounting systems
  • Detail-oriented with good organisational skills
