Job summary

Buzzacott is offering an apprenticeship for aspiring trainee accountants within our Business Services Team. You will study towards AAT Level 3 and Level 4 under a structured programme, building technical skills and professional development with paid study leave and exam support.

On completion, continued progression towards ACCA is encouraged, with exam fees paid and ongoing mentoring from senior staff to guide your career in a leading firm.

Qualifications

• 144 UCAS tariff points from 3 A-levels or equivalent.
• GCSE Maths and English Language Level 7 (old system A).
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Right to work in UK for duration of training contract.

Responsibilities

• Act as a trainee accountant in the Business Services Team for Financial Services clients.
• Carry out accounting work in line with firm and statutory procedures.
• Prepare accounts, including consolidated accounts, from manual and computerised records.
• Provide general accounting services and assist with working papers.
• Keep Seniors, Managers and Partners informed of progress and budget time effectively.
