We are looking for an Assistant Manager who will support Managers within our Accounting and Financial Reporting team in Preston and profitably manage a portfolio of clients. As an Assistant Manager, you will manage team resources to ensure the highest standards of client service while actively identifying business development opportunities.

You will make an impact by:

  1. Leading on delivering complex accountancy-related projects for clients, such as IFRS transition consultancy work or support on acquisition accounting and complex consolidations.
  2. Providing insights to clients by leveraging the firm’s resources and helping introduce other service lines as relationships develop.
  3. Supervising and coaching junior team members in preparing financial statements compliant with FRS 102, FRS 101, IFRS, and other relevant standards.
  4. Delivering exceptional client service through regular updates and acting as the main point of contact for communications.

  5. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and advanced Excel.
  6. Previous experience supervising junior team members.
