W Talent Finance partners with a well-established accountancy and professional services firm in Wakefield to recruit an Accounting & Advisory Manager / Senior Manager. You will lead a diverse client portfolio, delivering accounting, tax and advisory services while supporting growth from the Wakefield office.

The role offers a clear progression pathway to Directorship for the right candidate, a 37.5-hour week with an earlier finish on Fridays, and a comprehensive benefits package including

Qualifications

• Qualified with ACA or ACCA and UK accounting practice background.
• Experience leading a portfolio of owner-managed businesses in accounting, tax and advisory.
• Proven ability to mentor juniors and manage senior workloads.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of owner-managed businesses and clients across accounts, tax and advisory services.
• Lead delivery of high-quality accounting, tax and advisory work.
• Oversee preparation of accounts, tax compliance and advisory engagements.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted adviser.
• Support and mentor junior team members and support business development.
