Job description

A well-established and growing SME in the offshore renewable energy, oil and gas, and decommissioning sectors is looking for a recently qualified or part-qualified accountant to join its finance team. This role provides the opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, gain exposure to strategic financial decision-making, and contribute to the company’s continued success.

This position is central to financial reporting, business analysis, and operational finance, ensuring strong financial controls and supporting commercial objectives.

The successful applicant will be involved in:

• Preparing management accounts, supporting external audits, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Providing financial insights, assessing profitability, and contributing to cash flow forecasting.
• Collaborating with senior leadership and cross-functional teams, supporting finance system improvements, and enhancing financial planning.

Skills & Experience

• Recently or part-qualified ACA / ACCA / CIMA accountant with strong technical skills.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial systems.
• A proactive, adaptable, and detail-focused approach.
