Purpose:
The main purpose of the role is to oversee and manage the financial reporting and compliance for designated workstream(s), ensuring reporting deadlines are met, and adherence to accounting policies for those areas. The successful applicant will be the main contact for internal queries and ensuring a strong working relationship with all stakeholders that have an interest in the workstream(s). The successful applicant will have indirect supervisor responsibilities and will be responsible for supporting members of their assigned workstreams, helping them to maximise their potential through applying their comparative advantage and looking at ways they can self-actualise in their roles.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Take full accounting responsibility for the workstreams they are assigned.
- Develop a high level of understanding of all areas of the workstream to be able to identify effectively and further analyse areas where there are potential issues through regular review of balance sheet reconciliations, Balance Sheet and P&L movements.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP accounting rules and meeting close timelines.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders for the workstream, both inside and outside of the SSC, to drive close collaboration and mutually beneficial results.
- Support the management team and the wider accounting team to ensure the overall success of the group.
- Ensure a good understanding of the EMEA finance vision and how this links to the Infor vision, with a view to supporting the workstream understand their contribution towards this.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:- Qualified accountant (or equivalent experience)
- Years of experience of working in a financial accounting role (ideally within an SSC or multi-national environment)
- Experience of ensuring legal, fiscal and group compliance at a transactional level
- The ability to work under pressure ensuring deadlines are met
- Being adaptable to change, often at short notice.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- The ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Possess proactive and flexible attitude
- The ability and willingness to work additional hours as required
