Accountant/Qualified by Experience Accountant - Belfast

MCS Group is delighted to be partnering with an established and growing Practice located in Belfast, looking to recruit for an Accountant on a full time, permanent basis.

The Company:

A respected and well-established independent firm of chartered accountants and business advisers, based in Belfast, is currently expanding its team. While most of their clients are located throughout Northern Ireland, they also serve a diverse international client base across the Republic of Ireland, Great Britain, Europe, North and South America, and Australia.

The team includes experienced professionals from a range of specialisms, including chartered accountancy, tax advisory, trust and estate planning, and human resources.

Job Duties of the Accountant include:

• Working with a portfolio of clients across a number of industries.
• Accounts Preparation (Statutory Accounts + Management Accounts)
• Reviewing the work of junior members of staff
• Some Audit work
• Managing junior members of staff

What you need to be the Successful Accountant?

• Qualified (ACA/ACCA) or Qualified by experience
• Open to Accounts Technicians with extensive Practice experience
• Extensive experience in accounts preparation (statutory or management accounts)
• Practice experience
• Supervisory experience
