Sheridan Maine is partnering with a respected accountancy practice in Wiltshire to recruit a Qualified Accountant. This role is ideal for a finance professional who is either qualified (AAT/ACA/ACCA) or part-qualified.

This position suits someone who enjoys building long-term client relationships, delivering high-quality service, and supporting a diverse portfolio of clients in the rural sector.

Responsibilities:
  1. Preparation and review of accounts and tax returns for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.
  2. Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and professional standards.
  3. Providing clients with clear financial advice and actionable insights.
  4. Collaborating with colleagues to ensure an excellent client experience.
  5. Contributing ideas to enhance the firm’s services and client offerings.
Candidate Requirements:
  1. Full or part-qualified AAT/ACCA/ACA.
  2. Experience within a UK accountancy practice.
  3. Strong technical skills in preparing accounts and tax returns for varied client types.
  4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build trusted client relationships.
