Job description

Hayward Hawk are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our financial services client for an Assistant Accountant on a full-time, permanent basis. You'll have the opportunity to grow in your role, while playing an important part in our client's continued success. This is a hybrid role.

What you'll do
  • Responsible for planning and preparing financial reports for a portfolio of funds, ensuring that all reporting deadlines are met and client accounting requirements are delivered in accordance with Ocorian's contractual obligations.

  • Develop and implement processes to guarantee the timely delivery of financial reports and accounts for all entities in the allocated portfolio, meeting client accounting needs.

  • Ensure the accounts production process adheres to current accounting standards and best practice principles, staying updated as standards and practices evolve.

  • Set up reporting procedures for new funds and other entities, based on fund documentation and client-specific reporting needs.

  • Provide guidance and support to the administration team to ensure that transaction bookkeeping is completed accurately and promptly.

  • Work closely with clients and professional advisors to establish and agree on timetables for account production.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory and statutory reporting requirements.
