Job description

Are you an experienced accountant with a proven track record in preparing businesses for sale? We’re seeking a commercially astute finance professional to lead exit planning and sale readiness across multiple business units within a dynamic organization.

Position Details:
  • 12-month Fixed Term Contract (with potential for extension)
  • Location: Gatwick Airport area
  • Hybrid working arrangement
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Drive improvements in systems, reporting, and operational transparency pre-sale
  2. Develop and implement robust exit strategies for business disposals
  3. Lead financial preparation and due diligence processes
  4. Collaborate with legal, tax, and external advisors to optimize deal structures
  5. Ensure financials are transaction-ready, accurate, and compliant
  6. Support valuation and sale negotiations
Required Skills and Experience:
  1. Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent)
  2. Proven experience in M&A, business disposals, or transaction services
  3. Deep understanding of sell-side financial preparation
  4. Strong commercial acumen and stakeholder engagement skills
