Job summary

Interaction Recruitment is seeking an Accountant / Assistant Client Director for a busy Ferndown team. The role will involve preparing VAT returns, statutory accounts and corporation tax, reviewing client records and resolving day-to-day queries while building strong client relationships.

You should have at least 1 year of accountancy experience, ideally with practice exposure, and be studying towards AAT/ACCA/ACA. A friendly, proactive communicator with attention to detail is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of accountancy experience.
• Ideally some practice experience.
• AAT/ACCA/ACA qualification or working towards.
• Confident communicator with great attention to detail.
• Ambitious and keen to develop.

Responsibilities

• Preparing VAT returns.
• Statutory accounts & corporation tax returns.
• Reviewing client financial records.
• Managing day-to-day client queries.
• Working closely with the Client Director.
